Cannes Yachting Festival has marked the debut of Colombo 36 Bellagio in a new version. A luxurious and elegant boat, whose style won’t go unnoticed in the best marinas around the world.
Style is what come first to your mind, when looking at the new Colombo 36 Bellagio. The look is different from the sea of sameness we normally see even in classy harbors. In this case, luxury, elegance, quality and finishes are unmistakable. It’s the best Italian craftmanship, and not many yards can claim the skills to build such a boat.
The project is from Nuvolari and Lenard and dates back to 2009, but this year’s Stern Drive Edition confirms the longevity of the model, capable of maintaining its own charm over time.
Joinery and decorations recall the iconic motor boats of the Sixties, but the shape of the hull and sides are designed today. The cockpit features a multi-functional living area while the stern is traditionally home for a sundeck. The innovative platform with electro-hydraulic movement works as a gangway or a small beach area. The foredeck is a good example of the mentioned skills of the Colombo boatyard and the craftsmen who work there.
An electric awning with multiple, motorized poles opens at the touch of a button and shades the entire cockpit.
Belowdecks, a convertible dinette turns into a double berth, a sofa, a kitchenette and a spacious heads. Despite the sleek exterior lines and the low profile, there’s plenty of space and good headroom. This version boasts a stern drive propulsion, as an alternative to IPS pod drives. Easy handling is granted by a new proportional bow thruster, silent and with unlimited use time (i.e. no risk of burning the electric motor).
Class, style, luxury and performance, in a package that won’t go unnoticed everywhere you berth.
