The Aschenez boatyard, better known for their Invictus brand, is going to launch in Cannes the new Invictus 240CX. In just 7.45 meters it features comfortable and ample spaces, keeping high the well known pros of its siblings.
The hype is rising about the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival (12-17 September 2017), especially for Invictus, who in the last years have always introduced plenty of new models. This time is the Invictus 240CX to expand the CX range with solutions mutuated from the “X” range, especially in the wheelhouse developped vertically for easier piloting thanks to the correct ergonomic setting.
Attention to details
The boat is designed, like the rest of the range, by Christian Grande, which aimed at larger indoor spaces while maintaining a sporty profile thanks to the balance between hull and superstructure. Great attention has been paid to finishing and details, not only for materials but also for all color combinations. Like the 280CX (here’s our test), this model is designed to maximize space in relation to its size (7.45 m is the length and 2,50 the beam). The cabin is an open space with a potty concealed into a cabinet. To ensure a large storage space is another, ample piece of furniture, to port of the companionway. All the area is very bright thanks to the long glazing on both sides
As for the cockpit of the Invictus 240CX, the living area takes the center part, served also by the piloting “stand up” which can be easily transformed. Protection from the hottest sun is granted by a retractable awning. All this will be complemented by the well-known seaworthiness of the hull, which behaves well even in chopped waters and can mount up to a 250 HP outboard.
The new Invictus 240CX will make its official debut at the next Cannes Yachting Festival, an event that the Italian shipyard will attend in style. On display there will be 370 and 280 GT, 280CX, 200HX (another debut), 280TT and, for the FX range, 200, 240 and 270.
