Numarine has displayed as world preview the new 60 Flybridge at Boot Düsseldorf. Three units have already been sold, while the first delivery will be in August and the official launch in September at 2015 Cannes Yachting Festival.
With this debut, the Turkish yard completes their range after the success of 70 Flybridge and 78 Evolution. The first of the three units sold so far is already under construction, and soon a Hardtop version will follow.
18.40 mt long and 5.15 wide (60ft 4in x 16ft 10in), the Numarine 60 shows her aggressive design and sporty look, without hindering the owner’s spaces. Open areas and ample windows mark the typical brand layout.
The design of the model was aimed at having the maximum space in the 60 ft category, and once again it comes from Can Yalman for the concept, the exterios and the interiors. The Italian Umberto Tagliavini is the architect behind the hull, while the structural engineering is from Gurit.
Numarine 60 will be extremely competitive in terms of value for money: the vacuum infusion of composites is a well-known technology for the yard and allows for lightness and sturdiness. So it’s been possible to reach very good performance (35 kn top and 28 cruise) with smaller engines, lowering costs in terms of price tag, fuel consumption and maintenance.
The inner layout favors comfort and increases conviviality. Belowdecks the space is organized into three cabins with en-suite. The owner’s room is full beam, amidships, with large windows on both sides for a stunning view over the sea level even when laying in bed. For the first time the Turkish boatyard adopted the Volvo Penta IPS 950, which save much space in the engine bay allowing for an increased volume amidships for guests. Some of the space in the machine room has been dedicated to larger tanks (3200 lt for fuel, 900 for fresh water – 845 and 237 US gal) so cruises can last longer. A very good reason to call the Numarine 60 Flybridge a proper Long Range Cruiser.
