With Cobalt Marker One ML4, the American boatyard, already renown for the build care of their models, goes for a brand new offer to the Mediterranean markets.
Cobalt Marker One ML4 marks for Cobalt the debut in the pontoon segment, units meant to make boating a 360 degree experience.
In the yard’s words, Cobalt Marker One ML4 is “a rare combination of luxury, performance, and recreational opportunity”. Sure by taking a careful look it seems perfect for swimming, fishing, diving, cruising in relax, and even wakeboarding when considering it’s powered by a 200HP Mercury Verado outboard.
The Cobalt ML4 hull design features large tube diameters with lifting strakes, to offer a comfortable ride both in coastal chop and on a mirrored lake, with quick response and controlled stability. Hulls are made in aluminum and bolted through a structural stringer system to an upper fiberglass deck. The Marker One patent-pending power wedge flotation means the deck maintains a level feel even with the weight of a maximum horsepower engine astern.
The wide interior beam allows for vast seating surfaces and open spaces. But also large storage compartments for all the recreational rig.
At the helm of Cobalt Marker One ML4, a leather-wrapped sport wheel matches aluminum dash panels with optional ebony Macassar accents. A stainless steel framed windshield underlines how the Cobalt Marker One ML4 is made also for some performance. For the audiophiles, a Bluetooth enabled stereo system allows wireless connection to other audio devices, with control at multiple locations.
The swim step provides a platform underneath the water’s surface, which in Cobalt’s words is perfect for boarding but also for “your four-legged friend to easily climb aboard”.
Cobalt Marker One ML4 has a suggested price for the base version with Mercury 200 Verado of $ 84,652 for USA.
